The aim of this investigation is to model the debonding cracks between the main reinforcement and concrete for fibrous and non-fibrous reinforced concrete beams, as well as the influence of fibers on the crack widths, using the finite element code DIANA. These debonding cracks can be preserved using a molten metal alloy, and subsequently observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
